Looking to make a real impact? As Senior Housing Officer, you'll lead members of the Tenancy and Estates Team to deliver exceptional service, achieve goals, and drive forward the Council's ambitions. With strong leadership and a focus on collaboration, you'll manage a high-performing, skilled team, supporting the shaping of thriving and cohesive communities.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Manage and oversee tenancy and estate management duties, including tenancy sustainment and enforcement; transfers and mutual exchanges to maximise the effective use of the Council’s housing stock, tenant engagement and community involvement; and the management of community centres.
2. Oversee the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly statistical information to ensure objectives, KPIs, and targets are achieved.
3. Contribute to the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of tenancy and estates strategies, policies, and procedures.
4. Develop and maintain effective external networks with partners, suppliers, professional bodies, government offices, and other organisations that support the work and interests of the Council.
