Job Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Cheshire Mental Health Support Team (MHST) based in Cheshire East. We have two posts available within the Crewe/Cheshire East team.
Role Details
1. Position: Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner/CYPWP
2. Location: Cheshire East MHST, Crewe
3. Responsibilities: Collaborate with education settings and professionals to support children, young people, and their families through consultation, training, direct work, and evidence-based interventions.
4. Qualifications: Must have professional registration with a recognised National Body (BPS, BABCP) or be able to obtain this within 6 months of start date. If not registered, the position is initially on a 6-month fixed-term contract, which will be converted to permanent upon registration.
5. Supervision: Provide assessment and interventions under clinical supervision, with regular case management and supervision sessions.
6. Interventions: Deliver 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT-based interventions for children, young people, and parents/carers.
