Base pay range
Rewarding, permanent opportunities are available for a Coachbuilder in the Kilmarnock area.
Salary: 41,730 per annum
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Friday, 7:30am - 1:30pm
Our client offers a comprehensive range of refurbishment, maintenance, overhaul, engineering support, project management, and repair services to the UK rail and light rail sector. They offer a stable and rewarding working environment from their state of the art facilities in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

As a Coachbuilder, Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Stripping out, refurbishing, and renovating trains and rolling stock
* Using various metalwork techniques to remove dents, repair rusted sections, and fix panels together
* Bodywork inspections and corrosion repairs - cutting out rusted floors and side panels
* Installing new floors, lino, ceilings, and partitions and seating; inspection; removal and repair of internal and external panelling; refurbishment of train components (brushing, cleaning, and painting)
* Using hand, power, and air tools
The Ideal Coachbuilder Will Be
* Time-served with relevant qualifications from accredited bodies
* Able to pay strong levels of attention to detail, and able to identify issues and find ways to rectify
