£80-88,000 per annum + 5k Car Allowance
Personal & Company performance bonus - 20% Bonus

Our client is currently looking for a Solutions Architect to join their Architecture function to oversee the process of identifying and defining the technology components and guiding the investment/spend across the Data and Information Architecture domains as required to support business needs. The successful candidate will be required to lead the definition of the architectural artefacts that describe current, future, and transition states of the Technology Estate, together with the corresponding high-level plans & roadmaps, and to ensure the buy-in of key business stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
1. Engage with key stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels to understand and derive their technology needs in the medium to long term, specifically relating to Data and Information Architecture domains.
2. Agree on appropriate solutions and plans to meet these needs, securing investment/funding to realize these plans.
3. Lead the definition of the Architecture Lifecycle for applications across the organization, aligned with a broader Enterprise Architecture and corporate strategy. Assess the financial and technical impact of change and agree on an architecture investment strategy.
4. Lead the development of architecture models for Data and Information Architecture, including as-is, to-be, and transition state models.
5. Develop and lead technology strategies for Data and Information Architecture, including roadmaps and plans for implementation.
6. Define standards, patterns, and other artefacts guiding the implementation of architecture in these domains.
7. Regularly review these artefacts to assess their efficacy and relevance.
Experience:
1. Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to enable future-state business capabilities that drive targeted business outcomes.
2. Quick comprehension of functions and capabilities of existing, new, and emerging technologies that enable new business models.
3. Trusted thought leader capable of influencing business, IT leaders, and vendors.
4. Extensive experience in defining architectural artefacts such as models, roadmaps, strategies, principles, standards, and patterns.
5. Knowledge of architecture modelling and notation techniques.
6. Experience with formal architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
7. Proven track record in Data Migration programmes involving tools like Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI.
8. Expertise in Integration Architecture, patterns, and related technologies/vendors.
