Job Title: Technical Author

Compensation: £30,000 per annum

Our systems are used in sectors including naval, oil, cruise ships, and more. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, write, review, and approve technical documents including:
* Operations and maintenance manuals
* Data sheets
* Design calculations
* Test certificates
* QA data books
* Plant machinery safety assessments
* Client project technical documents in line with deliverables
* SSS technical documentation in line with project deliverables
Ensure all technical documentation aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to collect accurate and up-to-date technical data.
Support Research & Development (R&D) tax capture, monitoring, and calculation efforts.
Maintain and actively promote company culture in line with core values.
Provide a customer service-focused approach to documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for end users.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* A degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
* Strong technical writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret and present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
* Familiarity with technical documentation standards and best practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* A proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
