Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 6 hours a day between the hours of 09:00 and 20:00. Specific start and finish times will be determined during interview.
Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends.

Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels to customers on assigned routes by walking or driving as required.
* Work weekends and across the stated weekly hours.
* Provide friendly, reliable customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community.
* Follow operational standards and safety guidelines during delivery and handling of mail.
Person specification
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
* Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
