The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing and growing an existing portfolio of key accounts
Building long-term relationships with customers to maximise retention and sales
Proactively identifying, researching, and converting new business opportunities
Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to help shape sales strategy
Preparing proposals, quotations, and sales reports
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in business development or account management
A background in the packaging industry (manufacturing, printing, or related sectors) preferred but not essential
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
A self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
A proactive mindset and passion for driving business growth
Full UK driving licence
