We seek to recruit a A&C Team Lead to work within the Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, forward looking and well established service working with teams across Manchester, Salford and Trafford, and will be based at Trafford. The department provides services in partnership the local authority, voluntary sector organisations and other agencies that provide health and social care to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of our local communities.
Main duties of the job
The A&C Team Lead is responsible for the day to day administrative management of sexual health, contraception and HIV services at Urmston Clinic and a number of spoke clinics, throughout Trafford.
To lead on the management of a team of administrative staff supporting the delivery of a large clinical service delivered from a range of clinical and non-traditional settings and to develop and implement policy for this area.
To ensure the smooth day to day running of clinical services and monitor service performance.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 4 Office Administration or recognised supervisory qualification
* Medical Secretary qualification
* BSMS/AMSPAR
Experience
* Experience in an administrative/secretarial setting
* Experience of line management of staff.
* NHS/Health related administrative/secretarial experience
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Supervisory experience
Skills and Attributes
* Experience in using computer packages
* The ability to deal with enquiries in a polite and diplomatic manner
* Ability to set and manage targets of others
* Ability to prioritise and organise work.
* Experience of using Inform, NHS spine and PAS.
