Staff Nurse – Band 5 (Permanent)
About the role
Registered Band 5 Staff Nurse required to work within a busy community hospital housing a 23/24 beds ward and a day hospital. The role is 24 hours per week, permanent, with various shift patterns, including rotation to night shift. You will work autonomously and collaborate closely with Local GP staff nurses. Experience working independently with complex patients is preferred.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct nursing care to patients in the community hospital setting.
* Assess patient health, develop and implement nursing care plans.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary team including physicians and allied health professionals.
* Manage complex patient situations independently and drive initiatives for care improvement.
* Adhere to rotational shift schedule, including night shifts.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with current UK license.
* Band 5 status and experience working autonomously.
* Experience with complex community patients is preferred.
* Good knowledge of NHS procedures and quality standards.
* Fit for post as subject to criminal record check and possible PVG scheme.
