Housing Allocations Backlog Officer (Hybrid) needed in Slough, £18.34ph

We are seeking a Housing Allocations Backlog Officer in Slough to provide advice and assistance on the Allocations Scheme and Nominations Agreement.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring all housing legislation and regulation are adhered to in the context of housing allocations.
2. Managing the allocation process through to the matching of properties.
3. Making decisions on housing register applications, determining the status and band award, and cross-referencing with all housing advice approaches as part of a wider housing solutions service.
4. Allocating accommodation to households in line with the Housing Allocation Scheme through the direct matching system, including special groups such as those with medical needs, delayed discharge of care cases, under-occupiers, and homeless cases.
5. Coordinating the input of void and new build properties from Housing Associations.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Practical experience of NEC (Northgate), Civica, and Jigsaw in allocations/housing register contexts.
* P6 experience is desirable.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis, currently a hybrid position working in the office 3 days a week, subject to change based on business needs.
