We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our finance department in the Sales Ledger function. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
We offer a hybrid working model, combining home-working (3 days per week) and office-based work in Brighton (2 days per week), between 8.30 am and 5 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break.
The salary for this role ranges from £25,000 to £27,000, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing:
* Raising sales invoices, credit notes, and issuing statements to clients
* Managing multi-invoices for large clients with multiple divisions
* Understanding client contracts to ensure accurate invoicing in accordance with contract details
* Liaising with other teams and account managers to ensure smooth workflows and providing assistance as needed
* Researching “on-account” payments received
* Acting as the finance contact for clients, including managing suspended accounts
* Responding to queries related to Accounts Receivable
* Processing invoices, handling requests, and updating balances in the accounting system
* Supporting other team members within Finance upon request
