This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

To analyse the layout of all products within the branch and ensure that both the Automat & Manual line throughput is balanced. Relocate / Assign products to maintain warehouse efficiencies.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 0900 to 1700, Friday – 0900 to 1600 – 39 hrs per week

Rate of pay: £12.96 per hour

Location: Preston Service Centre

Key Accountabilities

Operating Standards

* To achieve agreed productivity level on moves that are made within the warehouse
* To analyse branch product Data Reports that are sent to us from head office.
* To accurately move stock from pick and reserve to new locations.
* To ensure processing of new lines to the pick and reserves.
* To audit work from all previous moves.
* To assign products directly on to automation including physical setup.
* To print off shelf edge labels using Zebra labels software.
* To ensure Knapp download is completed at appropriate times.
* To accurately identify dimension, when processing new lines.
* To communicate with Inventory Manager and Management team with all moves made with the warehouse.
* To produce a monthly % report from all areas of the warehouse
* To meet all Health & Safety requirements.
* To ensure housekeeping is always to agreed standards.
* To ensure all data is kept for reference.
* Communication with depot automat engineer/returns.
* Building Customer Loyalty – Effectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Communication – Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
* Contributing to Team Success – Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
* Initiating Action – Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive.
* Safety Awareness – Being aware of conditions that effect employee safety.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

* Good Communication skills - both written and verbal
* Able to interpret and analyse date
* Basic numeric and literacy
* PC Skills Microsoft office
* Knowledge of warehouse systems
* Knowledge of typical warehouse layout and control
* Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse environment

Level of Decision Making:

Required to act on own initiative and work unsupervised at times

It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
