A Head of Finance is being recruited exclusively for a small, established family business based in rural North Dorset. The business has some really exciting growth plans and a Head of Finance would be at the heart of the operation. This is a new position reporting to the Directors, overseeing a small finance team and will have responsibility for: Monthly management accounts Year end statutory accounts VAT returns Forecasting Budgeting Payroll Liaising with bank, accountants and other external bodies Involvement with strategic planning Future system transfer from Sage to an ERP system You will need to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with wide ranging accounting experience in SMEs. Knowledge of the construction sector and project costing an advantage but not essential. Previous of experience of ERP implementation would be particularly useful.
