Right to Buy Officer
Permanent – Full Time
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000
Location: Wigan / Hybrid
The Role
As a Right to Buy Officer, you’ll play a vital role in managing Right to Buy and leasehold matters, ensuring legal compliance and high-quality customer service. You will be the key point of contact for tenants and leaseholders, guiding them through the process and helping them understand their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the lead contact for all Right to Buy and leasehold enquiries
Provide clear and accurate guidance to customers on their rights and obligations
Manage shared ownership sales, staircasing, and resales
Ensure accurate calculation and validation of service charges
Support the collection and monitoring of service charges
Coordinate meetings related to leasehold matters and service charges
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and council procedures
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service deliveryThe Candidate
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in leasehold management and/or Right to Buy processes
Strong understanding of leasehold and Right to Buy legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
Proficiency in administrative and IT systems
A proactive, customer-focused attitude
Ability to travel across Wigan Borough if requiredThe Company
