Thames Hospice is looking for a proactive, organized, and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team at Maidenhead Homestore. We sell high-quality pre-loved furniture and home goods to support our mission of providing end-of-life palliative care.
What You’llBe Doing
Creating Stunning Displays: Arranging furniture and homeware to make our store a welcoming place to browse.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find the perfect items for their home.
Stock Management: Supporting the manager to process donationsand keep the sales floor tidy.
Driving Sales: Contributing to daily/weekly sales targets to maximize income for our cause.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn.
2. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
3. Good physical stamina (handling furniture is part of the job).
4. Reliability and a passion for teamwork.
