We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 Driver to join the team Role Key Accountabilities Delivery to various Pitreavie customers and sites across the Central Belt and various areas Drive Company HGV, and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation Provide support to the Transport Manager and wider team, ensuring that all freight is loaded and secured safely for onward delivery Provide a safe and professional HGV driving service for delivery of goods Report any issues that impact deliveries and collections in a timely manner Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks ensuring any defects are reported prior to operating vehicle Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting Flexibility in operating other mode vehicles inside of scheduled maintenance Knowledge, Skills and Experience Hold the relevant license for Class 2 (C2) entitlement for a minimum one year ( applications from Newly qualified drivers will be accepted) Hold a valid driver CPC / Tacho Qualification card Understand and comply with Driver's hours and Working Time Directive Excellent communication skills - for communicating with office and customers Attention to detail Quick decision-making skills Ability to work on your own and as part of a team Abide by all Highway Code regulations Comply with all Health and Safety measures Flexibility to drive a 3.5tn vehicle where business needs dictate FLT License preferred but not essential Flexible to early morning staggered start times 06.00 - 10.00am Our Benefits 6 weeks / 30 days holiday increasing with Length of Service Ability to purchase or sell holidays 3 times life assurance Employee assistance program Cycle2Work scheme Refer a friend scheme (£750 for successful applicants) Health and wellbeing initiatives, including free flu vaccines Support local charities How to apply/next steps To apply, click 'apply' and ensure your CV is up to date.
