Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
* Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
* Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
* Engage in meaningful communication to promote emotional well-being and companionship
* Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
Requirements
* Holding a NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
* Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
* Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including alternative weekends & Bank Holidays such as; Christmas & New Year
We can offer a variety of hours to suit all, whether you are looking for part time or full time hours. Our shift times are 08:00 - 20:00 (With a one hour unpaid break)
