Overview
We are recruiting for the role of a Social Worker in our Safeguarding & Support Team covering Rugby on a full time/permanent basis based at Oakfield Park, Rugby.
We are a Family Help Team and work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents' care or with a plan of reunification home. Our Family Help Team is multi-agency with Family Support Worker, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSO's and NHS Nurse, all working together to meet the holistic needs of our families to reduce risk and keep families together.
We work with families under the principles of Restorative Practice to identify plans which meet each individual family's needs and are used with every family to help them identify positive change and develop a plan that works for them. If you would like to join a team which constantly strives to achieve the best outcomes for the children and families we work with, embraces new social work practices and is committed to providing a supportive learning environment for social workers to develop their skills and practice, then we want to hear from you.
Our offer includes a supportive management approach, wellbeing and workload considerations, and opportunities to develop within Warwickshire’s Children and Families service.
