Principal Accountabilities
* To provide a creative, consistent, constructive, customised and skilfully co-ordinated package of support to young people referred to the service.
* To work with young people to identify their talents, strengths and interests and both deliver and support access to a range of positive activities.
* To support young people to develop positive and supportive networks.
* To work with parents to maximise their capacity to safeguard the young person and enhance the parent-child relationship, referring to other agencies as required.
* To demonstrate persistence in working with young people and their families.
* To develop excellent relationships with local partners and stakeholders to ensure that young people and their families have access to services that best meet their needs.
* To work extensively with education and training providers to secure access or sustain places for young people.
Professional responsibilities:
* To fully participate and contribute as a member of The Sid Youth team
* To develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues within the team, local area and organisation.
* To receive line management and supervision as agreed with the line manager.
* To maintain high-quality, accurate records, participate in data monitoring activities, and undertake evaluation procedures as advised.
* To develop and maintain appropriate boundaries of confidentiality with service users and professional colleagues within Salus and from other organisations.
* To maintain high standards of professional integrity and respect for others.
* To ensure continuous self-development through training, supervision and other appropriate means.
* Any other duties which may reasonably be required by the The Sid Youth Management Team.
