SEN Teaching Assistant - Main Responsibilities:
1. Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language challenges, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
2. Work alongside class teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised learning programmes.
3. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
4. Adjust learning resources and materials to meet individual student needs.
5. Support the wider personal and social development of each child, as well as their academic progress.
SEN Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For:
6. At least 6 months’ experience as an SEN TA, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant in a school environment.
7. Background supporting children with additional needs in primary or secondary education.
8. A patient, encouraging, and reliable approach.
9. Relevant qualifications (such as CACHE, Level 2/3 TA, or equivalent) are welcome but not essential.
