Our client are looking for a qualified, or part-qualified accoutant, and will offer financial study support if required. They are paying up to £35,000 and offer hybrid working. The role will involve the following; Customer Service Provide an excellent level of Customer Service to all clients and colleagues. Working towards the companys goals and targets. Promote and represent the company at the highest level. Building relationships with clients and gain referrals from them Self-Management Reviewing job stages and workflows, and ensuring you are aware of upcoming work. Organising a handover of work when taking annual leave. Ensuring work is complete within allocated periods and deadlines. First line support for client issues or complaints. Team Manager to contact client to resolve any client issues. Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 clients. Technical Completion of year end accounts, CT600, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment Tax Returns Management of your clients payroll and VAT Assisting your clients with tax planning, taxation and accountancy advice Ensuring your clients meet statutory deadlines, such as VAT returns and RTI Submissions Providing IR35 advice Sharing new legislation and knowledge with the Team Manager. Identify any training requirements and reporting to Team Manager. Promote the company through forum posts, articles, LinkedIn, etc. Attendance at various events may also be required. Work on projects as per the business requirements. Take on new clients and manage their expectations Criteria A proactive, forward thinker. Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility for tasks. Positive attitude. Able to keep up to date with current legislation and share knowledge within the team. At least one examination passed towards an accountancy qualification Two years working in an accountancy practice
