Job Responsibilities
1. Facilitate and deliver both live stream and in-person group exercise classes, accommodating participants with varying abilities and physical functions.
2. Promote self-directed activity through pre-recorded on-demand classes and journaling to support participants in managing their condition post the 12-week programme.
3. Adjust exercises and intensities based on participants' progress, demonstrated through effort and performance improvements.
4. Identify any deterioration in participants' conditions and follow internal escalation processes, ensuring timely reporting and accurate outcome data collection to support charitable objectives and monitor progress.
5. Conduct weekly one-on-one telephone coaching sessions to assist participants with goal setting, understanding restrictions, monitoring progress, providing emotional support, and encouraging self-management.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrate leadership, influencing skills, effective communication, organization, and self-motivation.
* Collaborate effectively onsite, centrally, with the charity team, and beneficiaries.
* Possess excellent IT skills and hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
* Preferably have experience in a rehabilitation specialist role and understanding of rehabilitation; a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation is desirable but not essential.
* Show problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Have strong organizational, decision-making, and time/resource management skills.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Qualifications demonstrating proficiency in English and numeracy skills.
