We’re on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fantastic Chester City team supporting our vibrant and diverse client base.
It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and innovative firm. You’ll:
* Get fully involved with client bookkeeping to trial balance, ready for accounts production
* Complete reconciliations and adjustments to produce accurate information.
* Confidently prepare and submit VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
* Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, advising them of their liabilities and solving any potential queries
* Liaise with HMRC
* Post and scan invoices, and complete CIS returns for clients.
Let's talk about you and your skills...
Hungry for a new challenge, you’ll:
* Be AAT L3/L4 Qualified or QBE
* Have previous management accounts experience (desirable not essential)
* Be experienced in using Xero software.
* Have an In-depth knowledge of VAT return processes and the various schemes.
* Understand accounting systems, processes, and all aspects of bookkeeping.
* Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
* Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
* Be proactive and passionate about delivering a great client experience.
