Life Insurance Customer Support Adviser
Division: Member Care Life Associate – Team: Customer Service.
Working pattern: 40 hour week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with one Saturday 9am‑1pm. Hybrid model after probation: 2 days office, 3 days remote.
Salary: Starting salary £27,210. Performance bonus up to £300 per month.
Holiday: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to buy or sell up to 5 days each holiday year.
Responsibilities
* Set up payment of benefit or medical report payments.
* Notify re‑assurers regarding claim details.
* Administer unemployment claims for waiver of premium.
* Prepare relevant documentation for claims.
* Collaborate with internal departments to obtain advice and input for correct outcomes.
* Capture and report on claims statistics.
* Handle emotionally challenging conversations with empathy, patience and understanding.
* Use multiple systems and channels to support customers.
* Personalise conversations, build rapport and support vulnerable customers through their preferred communication method.
* Embrace change and learn new skills to improve customer experience.
* Achieve performance‑based KPIs that determine bonus earnings.
