About the role: Working as a full-time class teacher in the KS1 department (year group TBC) you will be expected to: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil progress and well-being. Use a variety of differentiated teaching strategies to support children of all abilities. Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress using both formative and summative assessment methods. Prepare pupils for Key Stage 1 SATs, ensuring readiness and confidence. Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support student development.
