Technical Operations & Communications Coordinator (STEM Graduate) – (Graduate / Entry-Level)

Location: Cardiff, Wales Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediate / Flexible

About the Role

Novomorphic is seeking a technically capable and highly organised graduate to join the team as a Technical Operations & Communications Associate.

This is a broad, hands-on role at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for managing coordination activities across the business, maintaining our Customer Relationship Management system, preparing materials for customer meetings, and representing Novomorphic as an initial point of contact with clients and partners.

The role requires excellent time management, clarity in communication, and the confidence to present our capabilities to customers and collaborators in a professional, credible manner.

It is an ideal first role for a graduate who wants to build a career that bridges technical understanding with commercial and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Support

* Coordinate meetings, schedules, and logistics for the CEO and wider team.
* Track and follow up on key actions and priorities across business functions.
* Maintain clear internal documentation, reports, and shared records.
* Support day-to-day operational efficiency as the company scales.

CRM & Business Systems

* Maintain and manage the Freshsales CRM to ensure accurate and current data.
* Track customer interactions, opportunities, and project status.
* Generate summary reports for internal use and management review.
* Work with the CEO and technical leads to ensure follow-ups and leads are progressed systematically.
* Act as the first point of contact for inbound customer and partner enquiries.
* Present Novomorphic’s capabilities and services clearly and confidently.
* Engage potential customers to help create demand and interest in our design and technical services.
* Attend customer meetings, industry events, and workshops to represent the company.
* Capture meeting notes, actions, and feedback for internal follow-up.

Communications & Content Support

* Support preparation of company presentations and promotional materials.
* Contribute to maintaining a consistent online presence through LinkedIn, the website, and other channels.
* Draft clear and accurate technical summaries, posts, and updates.
* Produce simple visual materials or edit short videos when required (experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is beneficial).
* Assist with planning and logistics for events, conferences, and partner activities.

Requirements

* A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
* Confident, professional presentation skills — comfortable engaging directly with customers.
* Familiarity with business systems such as Freshsales (or the ability to learn quickly).
* Competent with productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
* Experience in graphic and video editing (Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or equivalent).
* Experience managing or coordinating student societies, technical projects, or events.
* Interest in semiconductors, electronics design, or technology commercialisation.
* Basic understanding of CRM workflows or customer lifecycle management.

What We Offer

* Direct exposure to the leadership and strategic operations of a fast-moving deep tech business.
* Opportunity to engage with customers, partners, and technology leaders from day one.
* Mentorship from senior technical and commercial professionals.
* Experience across multiple business functions: operations, engineering, marketing, and customer engagement.
* A clear progression path towards technical sales, operations management, or communications leadership.

Ideal Candidate

You are a technically trained graduate who thrives on structure, precision, and clear communication. You are curious about how advanced technology businesses operate commercially, and you want to be involved in both the technical and business sides of a high-growth company.

You are comfortable presenting to others, capable of managing multiple priorities, and driven to make things happen efficiently and professionally.
