Responsibilities
1. Provide end-to-end security response, including triage, response, escalation, coordination, and remediation of events and incidents.
2. Proactively identify and anticipate security events and incidents, contributing to database and trend analysis to protect the bank, customers, colleagues, and assets.
3. Collaborate with a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure effective incident response and security measures.
4. Demonstrate a logical, proactive approach in troubleshooting and daily security tasks.
5. Conduct root cause analysis on security incidents, produce progress reports, and maintain queues in ServiceNow.
6. Automate processes to improve security operations, review web proxy system capabilities, and adopt continuous improvement practices.
7. Identify, handle, and escalate security incidents in line with best practices and risk management protocols.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Experience with security incident and event management systems.
2. Understanding of transmission control protocol and internet protocol.
3. Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and proxy servers.
4. Proficiency in documentation tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
5. Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proactive, independent, and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment.
