Job Role:
To be the first point of contact for all Service guests, providing professional reception services and facilitating efficient workshop operations to maximize guest experience and departmental profitability.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Book vehicle appointments considering guest convenience and workshop capacity.
* Produce accurate job cards, invoices, and guest information for workshop and guests.
* Coordinate with parts department for availability and inform guests accordingly.
* Greet guests, offer courtesy services, and confirm details before repairs.
* Update guests on job progress and obtain approval for additional work.
* Process payments and authorizations promptly before vehicle release.
* Log complaints and coordinate with management for resolution.
* Maintain reception standards and guest needs.
* Explain work carried out and upsell additional services.
* Keep records for follow-ups.
* Comply with FCA and legislative requirements.
* Maintain stock and parts documentation.
* Respond to inquiries courteously and promptly.
* Check returned parts for damage and log details.
* Organize stock warehouse efficiently.
* Update parts literature and related information.
* Manage stock and process purchase invoices accurately.
Work Pattern:
This is a permanent full-time position:
* Monday – Friday (08:00 – 18:00)
* Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00) on a rota basis (1 in 2)
Candidate Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence with no major endorsements
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (Customer Service, Service/Parts/Warranty Advisor)
* Proven sales skills and excellent customer service
* Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
