Job Title: Investment Proposition Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £39,825 - £44,250

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Edinburgh office.

We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Investment Proposition Manager to join our Investment Solutions area within Insurance, Pensions, and Investment (IP&I).

This role supports our customer-facing investment propositions across Workplace, Advice & Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels. We're one of the largest Workplace pension providers across the combined DC offering, well positioned in the individuals space through our Advice & D2C channels, with ambitions to go further as a market leader and support our Longstanding customers. You'll collaborate with propositional, distribution, governance teams across the organisation, acting as a bridge between the rest of Investments. Reporting to our Senior Investment Propositions Manager, you'll play a meaningful role, bringing a passion for customer outcomes and a bold spirit in supporting the development of innovative solutions. We seek a curious-minded individual to support the team to drive proposition outcomes and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in investment propositions, with flexibility to shape the role depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Support strategic research, investment design and policy development across distribution channels
2. Conduct market intelligence to uncover customer insights and identify emerging trends
3. Act as a bridge between Investments and distribution teams, ensuring customer needs are met
4. Collaborate with Investment Distribution Specialists to support customer retention and acquisition
5. Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and client-facing materials, including RFPs and due diligence
6. Contribute to governance frameworks and ensure compliance with internal standards and Consumer Duty regulations

What you’ll need:

7. Proven experience in developing investment solutions or propositions within financial services across institutional or wealth clients with respect to investments, pensions or retirement
8. Knowledge of the landscape across workplace DC pensions, Advice and D2C channels - the type of investment products, asset classes, structures used and the players.
9. Experience in collaborating to deliver tangible outcomes through various stakeholders in fast paced environment and navigating complex relationships.
10. Familiar with the lifecycle of investment solutions and products, you'll be used to working within a Consumer Duty environment and the requirements of the FCA PROD Handbook.
11. A proactive and curious attitude, with the ability to run multiple priorities and action-orientated.
12. High attention to detail, highly organised and problem-solving skills.
