West Croft School is a large maintained school and nursery in the beautiful town of Bideford.
An opportunity for a KS2 class teacher, likely to be Year 4, to join our team has become available in the form of Maternity Cover.
The position will initially be full time from 5th January 2026 until 22nd February 2026 before becoming a temporary job share of days a week until the end of the academic year.
You will work alongside the existing, well established team to deliver outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for children, therefore it is imperative that the successful applicant is an excellent classroom practitioner with a deep knowledge of the curriculum.
West Croft has been graded as ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted, with the inspectors stating that ‘staff provide pupils with a rich variety of experiences which strengthen independence and build character’.
