JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking graduates for the Asset Design team in Electrical Engineering (EICA), Mechanical, Civils, Project Management and Asset Management. Candidates must have a flexible approach and a strong appetite to learn. The role involves collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and working with a diverse range of clients in the UK Water Sector.

DAY‑TO‑DAY ACTIVITIES
* Work alongside and learn from experienced discipline mentors.
* Produce single line diagrams, load schedules, I/O schedules, instrument schedules and MCC data sheets (EICA).
* Produce pump calculations, pump selection, isometric drawings, mechanical GA equipment sizing and selection (Mechanical).
* Attend site visits and site surveys for both mechanical and EICA projects.
* Learn 3D CAD design skills (both mechanical and EICA).
* Learn cable sizing and discrimination software tools (EICA).
* Learn hydraulic calculation and use of software tools (Mechanical).
* Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary design team to solve water and wastewater project challenges.
* Use digital software to support problem solving and reporting findings.
* Produce 3D models of solutions working alongside BIM modelers.
* risque at client and internal meetings and workshops to find the best solutions.
* Develop towards Chartered status with support and guidance from an experienced Delegated Engineer.

The two‑year graduate development programme supports personal and professional growth through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum 2:2 in a relevant subject.
* Completion of an online skill enabler assessment after the initial application stage.
* Availability to start in either April or September 2026.
* Passion for engineering and consulting in water.
* Desire to contribute to environmental, engineering, and planning initiatives.
* Enthusiasm for creativity, problem solving, and sharing innovative ideas.
