As the Product Developer, you will assist in the development of categories of the Women's ready‑to‑wear collections. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely development and delivery of the range from prototype development through to production, in line with the critical path. Additionally, you will be accountable for accurate bulk and production Bill of Materials (BOM) completion.
Responsibilities
* Assist and support the Product Development Manager through the whole lifecycle of the product, from Design Brief to Showroom Sample.
* Liaise with the Design Team to compile the BOM on Prima PD, adding or amending constructional items to reflect all components required for manufacturing.
* Use technical experience to select suitable colour and tonal information with the Design Team for all categories, ensuring all BOMs are complete.
* Take responsibility for UPS shipments of Pre‑Production samples and transfer of stock on Prima Order Management.
* Manage wearer tests on products to ensure they meet Mulberry strict quality standards.
* Build up the Product Specification Sheets (PSS) with constructional items, amending them as required during development to reflect all components needed for manufacturing.
* Assist in the sign‑off of seal samples and spec requirements to deliver production to the correct quality standard.
Qualifications
* Experience in RTW within a technical discipline.
* Knowledge of PLM systems (Centric PLM a plus).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a friendly and positive can‑do attitude.
* Adaptable, able to adopt a flexible approach to work and quickly respond to unexpected changes while ensuring objectives are met.
