Electrical Design/Project Engineer – Laboratory Equipment – Portsmouth – LM1245

Responsibilities
* Lead Electrical / Project Engineer responsible for electrical design and management of product development projects.
* Manage projects from initial customer meetings through the electrical design process, manufacturing, project completion and final delivery to customers.
* Create bespoke electrical designs using SolidWorks Electrical, and generate/update BOMs and other design and manufacturing documentation as required.
* Collaborate with other designers and departments to clarify specifications and translate technical requirements into structured modular designs.
* Lead the project lifecycle with key stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within budget and on cost.
* Develop accurate electrical designs within specified timelines, ensuring compliance with company standards and relevant market standards (e.g., EN standards).
* Provide technical support to sales, internal teams and customers with electrical questions and project status updates.
Qualifications
* Minimum of an HNC or higher in a relevant electrical subject.
* Experience with Electrical design software.
* Skills: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, Electrical Systems, CAD, SolidWorks, Schematics, Projects, Project Management.
