The site operates a fast-paced environment with modern equipment and a collaborative engineering team.The RoleYou will ensure machinery, equipment and site services run reliably throughout night shift operations. The role covers reactive, proactive and preventative maintenance, supporting production and maintaining high engineering standards.Key responsibilities include:Completing planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipmentServicing and repairing machinery, fitting parts and carrying out quality checksCalibrating instruments to maintain accuracyResponding quickly to breakdowns and supporting root cause analysisDelivering small improvement projects and tracking progressEnsuring safe working practices and compliance with site standardsCompleting engineering documentation and maintenance records accuratelySupporting the site's food safety culture and preventing process deviationsFollowing all company policies and proceduresCarrying out any reasonable tasks required to support operationsThe PersonYou will have:Level 3 electrical qualification plus 17th or 18th EditionMechanical maintenance experienceExperience using CMMS systemsStrong communication and time management skillsAbility to read engineering drawingsExperience in food manufacturingConfident fault-finding skillsFlexible approach to shifts and workloadFood hygiene Level 2Refrigeration or steam boiler experience is an advantage.KeywordsMulti Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Engineering Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Food Manufacturing, PPM, Reactive Maintenance, FMCGAdditional InformationWinsearch acts as an employment agency for permanent staff.
