Salary: £32, £35,845.00 per annum plus £3,500 area allowance
Purpose of the role
The Procurement Officer manages an assigned caseload and travels accordingly to meet Stakeholders and Team Members to support the organisation in achieving its procurement targets.
The Procurement Officer builds relationships with prospective & existing clients, sources properties for the organisation to procure for long term contracts. The Procurement Officer is responsible for carrying out procurement administration and meeting key performance objectives as well as sourcing targets
Duties and Responsibilities
Procedures
Manage the supply of property through accommodation partners, ensuring adherence to agreed levels and standards and in line with supply chain contracts.
Create & maintain effective partnerships with local authority senior EHO's and other regional stakeholders ensuring compliance with relevant UK legalisation.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders
Work with the Regional Operations manager and Head of Procurement Services to ensure the portfolio allows maximum efficiency of bed spaces in line with contractual and company requirements
Ensure values, ethical standards, policies and procedures are met.
Manage and report on performance targets and KPI's to ensure the contract is being delivered to company and Authority standards as well as legislative requirements.
Create a culture of continuous improvement and sharing of best practice across the supply chain to optimise service delivery and business excellence
Engender a positive health and safety culture to agreed standards
Administration of the property procurement department, ensuring all records are maintained in line with company procedure
Ensure property handover & sign off processes and procedures are followed
Ensure CRH portfolio is fully compliant with Local Authority, UKVI all other regulatory body legislation.
Answering daily telephone calls, emails and daily enquiries from landlords and agents
Ensure all Local Authority notices received are dealt with in the prescribed manner
To ensure internal audit and compliance criteria are met and that all activities conform to agreed company systems, policies and procedures.
