Overview
An excellent opportunity for a PLC Control Engineer to join a leading global engineering automation business, offering full training & support. Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm DAYS. The right PLC Control Engineer will support the site's maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a purpose-built, site-based automation environment.
Responsibilities
* To support the PLC technical repairs
* Prioritise system faults
* Error management
* Technical fault management, controller and communications to the wider network
* Adhering to agreed communication and fault management processes
* Identifying any process failures and escalating as required
* Targeting maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
* Root-cause analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools
* Rectification and prevention of issues
* Experience with Siemens S7, ProfNet, Profibus, and Ladder
Qualifications
* ONC-HNC-HND qualified engineering, OR BSc, or MSc
* Electrical control system experience
* Site-Based FMCG works/experiences
