What are we looking for?
We are seeking a new trustee to join our developmentplus board during an exciting period strategic development. The ideal candidate will bring experience in social enterprise, business strategy, or social investment, supporting the growth of our social enterprise, LUMINA, which aims to generate sustainable income to support our work within our community. What will you be doing?
We've recently secured further core funding, but further support is essential. A key part of our strategy is the growth of Lumina, our new social enterprise, designed to generate unrestricted income to fund the work we do within our community. Lumina is still in its early stages, with a focus on wellbeing services that meet a clear local need. We're seeking a strategic thinker with commercial experience to help shape and scale this initiative. Someone who can bring insight into business planning, income diversification, and investment options. You'll work alongside a committed board with experience across HR, law, the third sector, and local government. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping our charity thrive in challenging times.
