Responsibilities
* Work with and learn from leading figures in the pensions industry to deliver innovative solutions for prestigious clients.
* Be supported through actuarial exams with a mentor and a study support package to help you become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
* Contribute to client-focused projects and real-world actuarial problems.
On Our Programme, You’ll
* Focus on supporting clients with their Defined Benefit schemes, with potential opportunities to work with other scheme types.
* Support regular valuation work and risk-reduction/design projects.
* Collaborate with investment, communications and administration teams to provide joined-up advice.
* Build technical and consulting skills through practical and classroom learning.
* Communicate results effectively to colleagues and clients.
* Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and the services provided.
Qualifications
* A natural problem solver with an analytical mind.
* Comfortable working with and analysing numbers.
* A confident communicator who can build relationships.
* Curious and eager to build and apply knowledge.
* At least a 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline, or a 2:1 in a non-numerate discipline plus an A or B at A-Level Maths.
Workstyles
We’re open to hybrid working for this role, blending working at home with at least three days in the office (four in the first few months), collaborating with colleagues and learning from them.
