Our client, a leading company in their industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in Rainham, Essex. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in bringing in new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build new customer associations and expand existing customer relationships by selling a full range of products.
Manage customer accounts and analyse past and current order information to identify sales opportunities.
Work with the technical team to assist in the launch of new products.
Collaborate with the marketing team to improve online and social media presence.
Gain in-depth knowledge of our extensive product range and identify gaps and new trends in the marketplace.
Represent the company at trade shows both in the UK and worldwide.
Assist with general day-to-day business activities and ad-hoc duties.Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years sales experience. Additional commercial and/or management experience is beneficial.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proactive and able to multitask in a busy working environment.
Highly literate and numerate.
Computer literate, with some experience in social media beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and enthusiasm.
