Our client is a brand that is synonymous with the sporting world! This brand has been around for well over a century. Still, following a recent PE equity acquisition, they are now entering into a new period of growth that is going to have technology at the forefront.
A recent acquisition of a tech brand to their portfolio has fuelled the need for a brand new technology function. This company is steeped in history in the darts world, and its recent acquisition of a tech firm that develops autoscoring software means it needs forward-thinking technologists to join the team.
This DevOps hire will specify, configure and maintain cloud resources and other tooling used by the group for rapid product development and will report directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities -
* Manage a wide range of Cloud Services
* Use IaaC throughout for reproducible deployment
* Implement and test backups and disaster recovery procedures, adhering to recovery point/time and isolation objectives
* Manage Cloud expenditure, keeping usage cost-effective
* Work closely with the Software Engineering team to ensure the infrastructure is fit for purpose and easy to use.
Requirements -
* Deep knowledge of at least one of the major Cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure)
* Docker and K8s
* Cloudfare
* Terraform
* Linux and Bash
