Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland is Scotland's largest health charity dedicated to help those with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the fullest. A company that have recently launched a new strategy 'No Life Half Lived' looking to support those who don't have access to a quality supported self-management and community recovery service.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial insights, enabling informed decisions and driving financial performance.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 32.5 hours per week with hybrid working (max 2 days onsite)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide strategic financial analysis and advice
* Assisting Head of Finance in budgeting and forecasting
* Leading and Managing the Assistant FBP
* Responsible for producing monthly management accounts and relevant reports
* Lead on the day-to-day operational activities ensuring policies and procedures are effective and efficient
* Preparation for year-end audit
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Fully Qualified Accountant with PQE or finalist with extensive work experience and 6-12 months until completion of qualification
* Prior experience in a similar role (beneficial if previously worked within the charity sector)
* Prior experience producing monthly management accounts
* Excellent knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques
* Managing and delegating tasks to staff
* Fantastic communication skills
