WHY WE WORK FOR NAYC-ACUK
We are helping young people to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities as individuals and members of society.
We are committed to the Christian way of life and feel a sense of dedication to our job.
We seek to work as a team to set an example to the young people we serve and lead.
We believe in the power of faith to achieve more than we could ask or imagine.
The vision of Rev Harry Whittaker, Founder of NAYC & ACUK in 1961 has expanded to become the organisation we know today. A legacy that includes 200 youth groups, 2 purpose built activity & training centres, community sports facilities and a leadership training & conference centre.
Rev Harry Whittaker said 'people matter more than things'.
Our success looks like:
Releasing potential in young people
Releasing potential in leaders
Releasing potential in staff and volunteers
Working for NAYC / ACUK offers far more than just a job.
It is an inspiring and meaningful place to work where we are dedicated to helping young people contributing to their development of young people, helping them to mature into confident, well-rounded individuals.
