Your role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ecommerce Merchandising Manager for our eCommerce retail brand Glasses Direct.

The Merchandise Marketing Manager is responsible for driving product strategy for frames and lenses, focusing on assortment planning, product calendar development, and experience optimization. This role is key to enhancing Average Order Value and improving conversion rates and gross margins.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy Development
2. Formulate and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business objectives to drive improvements in AOV, CVR, and product margins.
3. Develop and execute action plans across product assortment, marketing, website experience, and other functions to support strategic goals.
1. Product Assortment and Pricing Management
2. Lead the development and management of the frame assortment plan, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
3. Develop the new frame introduction plan and coordinate with the group team for alignment.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and oversee the lens assortment plan, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder alignment.
5. Ensure effective pricing strategies for frames and lenses to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
1. AOV, CVR, and Margin Optimization
2. Lead initiatives to optimize AOV and ensure successful project execution.
3. Work with the UX team to optimize product website experience, improving CVR and user engagement.
4. Oversee product margin performance, refining pricing strategies and initiatives to improve profitability across categories.
1. Product Marketing Calendar Development and Execution
2. Create and implement a comprehensive product marketing calendar for frames and lenses, aligned with business initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
3. Partner with UX, CRM, Brand, and Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.
4. Coordinate with the Group Merchandising team to finalize promotional calendars, ensuring compliance with MAP policies and brand guidelines.
1. Reporting and Analysis
2. Lead research and analysis to inform product assortment, marketing strategies, and initiatives to boost AOV, CVR, and margins.
3. Generate reports and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making and ongoing business optimization.

What you’ll bring:

* Merchandise Marketing Experience: Hands-on experience managing eCommerce product marketing.
* Influencing & Leadership Skills: Strong influencing abilities to lead and collaborate across diverse teams and priorities.
* Self-Motivation & Emotional Management: Ability to work autonomously with high drive and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
* Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, conduct testing, and support data-driven decisions.
* Reporting & Data Visualization: Advanced skills in data reporting, visualization, and presenting insights effectively.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization.
