The Tree Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced tree officer to work in the eastern districts of Lancashire (Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, & Rossendale). The post involves delivering arboricultural management services including:
* Carrying out and recording of inspections
* Providing specialist arboricultural advice
* Providing technical assistance and mentorship to junior colleagues
* Maintaining effective relationships and communications with other agencies
* Providing technical advice to deliver projects for other services
Qualifications / Experience
* Managing tree assets for large organisations
* GIS and inventory systems
* Managing arboricultural contracts
* Preparing reports and providing information in various formats
* Working in a customer service environment
