In the land domain, our T7 and T4 multi-mission robots deliver next-generation remote capabilities and uncompromised performance. We design and manufacture world-leading land force protection systems, cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), electronic warfare (EW) and encryption capabilities. The Inventory and Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, warehousing, and distribution operations for the facility. This role ensures accurate stock control, timely material flow, and effective coordination between production, procurement, and shipping teams.

What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
11. Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability in line with production requirements
12. Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic full stock audits to ensure inventory integrity
13. Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
14. Develop, implement, and continuously improve inventory control processes and procedures
15. Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure seamless material flow
16. Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines to support operational continuity
17. Manage dispatch activities, including preparation and verification of shipping documentation
18. Build and maintain effective relationships with transport providers and suppliers
19. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce logistics costs
20. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel to achieve operational objectives
21. Allocate daily workloads and monitor team performance against defined KPIs
22. Foster a safe, organised, and high-performing working environment
23. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support employee development
24. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and planning teams
25. Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and business demands
26. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including lean methodologies
27. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
28. Maintain appropriate storage conditions and safe handling practices for all materials
29. Uphold adherence to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements

What you’ll bring

The role requires the following experience and skills:

30. Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management within a manufacturing or distribution environment
31. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred
32. Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS such as SAP, Oracle, etc) and stock control processes
33. Understanding of logistics operations, including shipping and transport coordination
34. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
35. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
36. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
