We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Accountancy based in Sudbury, who are currently recruiting for an Accountant. This is an extremely varied role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking high quality accounts preparation, audit and tax compliance services for a range of business clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as completing the corporation tax returns * Completion of personal tax returns for directors, sole traders and rental accounts * Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts * Utilise Excel and IT packages such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Previous Skills & Attributes: * Strong communication skills * Ability to work effectively within a team * Attention to detail * Self-motivated and driven * Ability to work well under pressure
