Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Technician will provide quality support to manufacturing and logistics areas, conduct inspections to control, monitor and maintain defined quality standards to meet the requirements of our customers.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Maintain quality control documentation to ensure product traceability and ISO9001:2015 compliance is achieved.
2. Report quality concerns and delays to the Quality Control Supervisor.
3. Inspect and verify Works Order documentation
4. Identify quality concerns and assist with non-conformance investigations including root cause analysis where advised by your Supervisor or Manager.
5. You will be required to liaise with department supervisors and managers to ensure quality products are produced and standards maintained.
6. Perform component First Off’s, In Process. and Final Release inspections.
7. Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
8. Participate in department audits.
9. Monitor production output to identify and prioritise changes in personal workload.
10. Using process and product knowledge you will provide coaching for staff regarding product quality and company compliance.
11. You will assist in environmental monitoring - Bioburden Testing - within the cleanrooms
12. Record and maintain daily quality performance data
13. Assist when required in internal and external ISO and customer audits.
14. Inspect and release controlled raw material (Logistics).
Skills/Experience:
15. Excellent attention to detail.
16. Experience of quality standards within manufacturing.
17. Understanding of the ISO9001:2015 quality standard.
18. Excellent time management skills.
19. Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively at all levels.
20. Prepared to work long periods within an ISO class 7 cleanroom.
21. Able to follow written process instructions.
22. Pro-active self-starter, capable of multitasking and working on own initiative
23. Proficient IT skills and experience of ERP systems.
24. Good problem solving skills.
25. Strong written and verbal skills.
26. Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
