Location Wycliffe College, Bristol Road, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 2AF Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 20 March 2026 Job Description Wycliffe College are seeking two enthusiastic and committed Sports Coaches (Cricket and/or Tennis) to join our sports department. Reporting to our Director of Sport, the successful candidates will provide high-quality coaching to pupils of all abilities, helping them develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment in cricket and/or tennis.
This role will involve planning and delivering structured training sessions, supporting development through effective assessment and fostering a positive, inclusive sporting culture that promotes participation, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The ideal candidates will hold a Cricket and/or Tennis Coaching Level 1 qualification (Level 2 desirable) and have experience delivering coaching to children in a school or club environment. A strong playing background, officiating qualifications, and experience in an independent or state school setting would be advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of tactics and rules, effective behaviour management, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Terms of Appointment
This is a temporary position offered on a part-time basis for the 2025/26 Summer term. Up to two coaches will be appointed to coach between 16 and 32 periods per fortnight. Coaching will take place Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays off.
