Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Crewe who are looking for a full-time Maths Teacher starting in January 2026. This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking for their first role within a mainstream secondary or an experienced Teacher who is looking for a new, exciting role.
About the role:
* Start-date: 5th January
* Ongoing/long-term role with opportunity for a permanent contract
* Teaching across KS3 and GCSE curriculum
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across KS3 and GCSE curriculum, fostering a supportive learning environment which allows students to access their full potential. You must be able to identify students who require additional support with maths and work closely with support staff to create individualised learning plans when necessary. You will assess pupils both formally and informally, providing live and written feedback. Additionally, you will play an active role within the maths department, ensuring the curriculum is updated regularly to reflect student progress.
What we’re looking for:
* QTS with a strong background in Maths
* Experience teaching across KS3 and GCSE curriculum (teacher training placements accepted)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and other members of the department
* Excellent knowledge of current teaching techniques and behaviour management
