* £58,270 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Your role and responsibilities
As Children and Young Peoples Services (CYP's) Head of Business Management, you will be the strategic lead for business continuity, risk management and information governance, as well as for the business support resourcing. This means you will play a leading role in ensuring that key processes and back office functions that support the work that our teams do can run efficiently and effectively.
You will be leading a skilled and supportive team of people in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.
Day to day tasks will include
* management oversight of CYP's central business and executive support and information governance teams
* leading CYP's business resilience planning
* regular reporting into CYP Leadership Team on security incidents, significant incidents, information governance, risk management and business resilience.

* a high degree of experience as a leader within a business management environment
* a supportive management style to enable the team and individuals to grow and develop
* exceptional organisational skills, preferably with strong project or programme management experience, and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time
* confidence in communicating with a wide range of people, including presenting information to senior leadership groups.

The team
The central Business and Information Team currently performs a number of essential functions:
Information governance and data protection - including security incidents, Freedom of Information Requests, and Subject Access Requests, DBS checks, Police information requests, Insurance claims, Data Protection advice and training, DPIAs, BAU requests), ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with statutory timescales
Business Continuity
Risk Management
Resource Management
Support to Elected Members in terms of diary management and ensuring all correspondence is logged and that requests for information and directed to appropriate people and followed up within the required timescales
PA and Business Support to the Director of Children's Services, Assistant Directors and Heads of Service
